The Key to Your Better Future Is You
Not only is the key to your better future you, but also you are the only one that can hold you back. It was Professor John M. Richardson Jr. who said “When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened,” and nothing could be closer to the truth than that!

Which of these three do you want to be? Do you want to wait and just let it happen, “Que sera sera” as Doris Day and James Stewart sang, or will you see it all go by and then wonder what happened to you and your life? Or will you take your life in your own hands and take to heart the words of Eleanor Roosevelt: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
You should believe in the beauty of your dreams and take positive action to ensure that you will be one of those that make it happen for themselves, and not become a ‘Que sera sera’ who watches the world go by as they idly allow it to do so.
Here are some things you can do to take that positive step to make your personal dreams of financial security come true:
A. Take Action
Take action by seeking out your personal skills and knowledge, and then using these to make money with your own online or offline business. For those new to business, starting an online business involves less work initially than a physical store and less financial outlay. It also enables you to sell non-physical goods such as advice, knowledge, software and eBooks – even if they are not yours!
You can get excellent professional web hosting for under $10 monthly that will enable you to run unlimited websites and blogs, and sell either your own products and skills or those of others for substantial commissions – sometimes over 50% of the selling price.
B. Start a Blog
Your first action could be to start your own blog. Both Blogger and WordPress are free to use, and if you have your own website you can install WordPress very easily to run alongside it, or even use the blog as your website. By expressing your thoughts about your niche – health, sport, music or whatever – you will get your name known online.
C. Start Making Money
Online success is not immediate, but is the result of months of work. Those dreaming of overnight success have as much chance of that as winning the lottery. However, by running your blog, building a list of people interested in your specialty or niche, and offering them the benefit of your knowledge or even free gifts now and again, you will ultimately have contact with a large group of people interested in what you are interested in.
D. What Free Gifts?
You could write reports or reviews of products or issues connected with your niche. If you are interested in children, for example, you could write an eBook on childhood diseases – or find such a book online offering Private Label Rights (PLR) and adapt it to your own words and use your name as author.
Perhaps a course, with each part dealing with one specific childhood disease, or one way to catch carp, or how to service your own car. Offer it free to your blog readers. The same for any niche – there are plenty PLR products available online, either free or at low cost that you can use as gifts for your readers.
E. Use Affiliate Marketing
Find affiliate products that relate to your specialty or niche, and offer these for sale once you are accepted by your visitors as being knowledgeable about your subject. Search Clickbank or any other affiliate site for products to offer on your website or blog. At minimum, you generally earn 50% of the sales price of each eBook on your subject you sell on your site – sometimes as high as 75% – 80%.
F. Network Marketing – MLM Opportunities
Look for appropriate network marketing or MLM opportunities (multi-level marketing). Many of these are currently in the health and fitness niche, although there are many MLM programs available for you to join that market many different types of product. Amway and Avon are just two of these.
Network marketing is one way for beginners to internet marketing to make money online without prior knowledge. Training is generally provided to you, and you can make money by selling the product, both online and offline to friends and relatives, or by recruiting others to do so for you.

In MLM you receive a share of the income made by those you have recruited, and even those that your recruits have recruited, sometimes down to many levels.
